We absolutely LOVED staying here!! The neighborhood is super quiet which is a perfect way to recharge after spending hectic days in the city. Highlights of the place include the bathroom, which had an onsen-like aesthetic, and the kitchen which was well-stocked and easy to use to cook meals (including the microwave!). Kan was the best host, going above and beyond to make sure our stay went smoothly and was enjoyable and comfortable. He was so kind! Overall, an amazing place and host.

ほたかさんもご家族の皆様もとても親切でフレンドリーで、こちらの状況や要望に寄り添って頂き感謝しています。到着の日から美味しいお茶を頂き、その後も沢山おもてなしをしてくださいました。お部屋もとても素敵なお部屋で、ワンフロア貸切ではありませんでしたが、快適に過ごしました。駅からも近く助かりました。

Location is great but comes with a price if you are bothered by late night trains bring earbuds. It did not bother us and the host was very hospitable and friendly. Good sized accomodation for the area. Would happily stay again!

Keiko's home is such a convenient, wonderful option for staying in Tokyo. Out of all the AirBnB's I've tried in the city, this one is by far the most spacious. Bathroom and kitchen are stocked with all the amenities you could possibly need, including basic cooking ingredients, complimentary coffee and water, shower caps, etc. It's clear that a lot of thought and care has been put into curating this space. The neighborhood is fantastic. Just a minute away is a lengthy pedestrian street filled with tons of restaurants, cafes, pharmacies, and convenience stores. The train station is a 5 minute walk down said pedestrian street and connects you with all of the major attractions in Tokyo. The cherry on top was definitely Keiko's hospitality. She gave a us a thorough tour and explanation of the home and was super quick to respond to any questions throughout our stay. Before we left she treated us to a perfectly lovely tea ceremony. Hope we can come back someday!

The place is super small and the laundry dryer doesn’t work and the host isn’t that helpful when it comes to the dryer other than to point out the closest laundromat. That being said, they are responsive and the place is clean. I would NOT recommend this place for groups larger than 2 people max. Ideally a couple that gets along in close spaces. Came here with my wife and 2 young kids and we stayed out the entire day to avoid being inside. The sleeping situation was decent for us but the rest of the place is insanely small. It doesn’t have a living room or even a useable eating area. Shower is so cramped and trying to use the sink is a major challenge for anyone taller than 5’5. I gave 5 stars cause the place is clean and host is responsive. That’s all we can really ask for as guests from a host. It worked out for us but it wasn’t a comfortable experience so know that when booking

The flat is absolutely lovely and perfect for one or two people. Akari is super responsive and very helpful, a pleasure to deal with. Definitely recommend this listing!

We had a great stay here. It’s about 30 mins from the Tokio city center. There are restaurants and groceries around so you have everything you need. Masakatsu is very kind and communication was seamless. There is a hot bath at the same premises, unfortunately we did not have time to try it. Totally recommend.

숙소 근처가 공원이라 벚꽃이 만개한 4월에 꽃구경을 실컷할 수 있어서 너무 좋았고 근처에 돈키호테, 파르코 등 쇼핑도 먹을 곳도 많고 디즈니랜드 셔틀도 있어서 그냥 위치가 너무 좋아서 도쿄를 너무 잘 즐기고 갑니다♡ 그리고 Kotaro님이 주변 카페 추천과 벚꽃 명소도 추천해주고 문의 사항까지 빠르게 답변을 해주어서 더욱 편하게 여행을 보내다가 갑니다. 다음에도 도쿄 여행을 온 다면 코타로님 숙소를 다시 선택할거에요! 즐거운 도쿄 여행 되었어요 감사합니다!

This is our second time staying at Toku-San’s home. Wonderful location, roomy and it had everything we needed for a short five-day visit. Hoping to return again next year!

We stayed here for our one week Tokyo visit, our family’s first visit to Japan. Location is close to a subway station, a Family Mart (literally across the street), and had nearby restaurants as well. The place is as described. Great space for our family of 4. Appreciate Yuko’s responsiveness and clear directions.

位置非常好找，江之电下车沿途都是值得一看的住宅小院。非常喜欢屋内的厨房餐桌区，自己买了食材烹饪，让我们在长方的木桌边，有了灯光般温暖的记忆。第二天走的时候落雨了，主人还送了我们一把伞。

We had an amazing stay! The host was incredibly friendly, always ready to help with a smile. The check-in process was a breeze, and we appreciated the clear instructions on how to use the household appliances and explore nearby attractions. We can't wait to return to Tokyo! The Asakusa Line, Stop 04, Entrance/Exit A1 was a game-changer for us, making our subway adventures super convenient and fun!

Yukari was more than a host, she is a friend. She is kind, friendly, helpful and very responsive. She picked us up at the station and also dropped us off when we departed. Japan is a great place to visit for its beauty, culture and especially the people. It’s our number one favorite country to come back again and again Thank you Yukari for allowing us to stay at your place and for being so nice to us

４月中旬に仲間５人で訪れました。美しい緑に囲まれた山里の裾野に佇む、築二百年の古民家で、木造家屋ならではの懐かしい木の香りが心地よく、穏やかな時間を過ごすことができました。 　広々とした敷地には、大きな母屋のほかにキッチンやダイニングを備えた別棟があり、庭の池では鯉が泳いでいます。きれいな瓦屋根の外観には歴史の趣が感じられる一方で、内部はモダンに整えられており、Wi-Fiやオーディオ環境も充実しています。レトロとモダンが調和した心地よい空間を、存分に楽しむことができました。とにかく、よく手入れがされているという印象でした。 　また、バーベキューの設備も整っていて、準備の手間なくすぐに楽しめたのも嬉しい点でした。周囲の自然と一体となった古民家で、都会の喧騒を忘れ、山里での一日をゆったりと味わうことができました。 　現地のいすみ市は、海の幸はもちろん、豚肉やお米などの山の恵みも豊かで、食材の魅力にあふれています。近隣でこうした食材を調達してBBQを楽しめば、土地の味を存分に味わえるひとときになると思います。現地から車で１０分ほどの大原駅周辺には、地元産の豚肉を扱う精肉店が複数あります。ここで手に入れた豚肉は非常に柔らかく旨み豊かで、フライパンでさっと焼くだけで至福の一品となりました。

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was so clean and comfortable, the kitchen has every necessity. the roof deck was a wonderful place to spend time, we enjoyed breakfast there every morning. Our host is fantastic, checking in every step of the way to be sure we arrived and entered successfully, then kids is suggestions of places to to from dining to exploring the area. he was truly so helpful and kind. the stairs may be a lot for some people but it just took some adjusting and is worth it for the space and the roof deck. we really felt we had a home away from home and hope to return when we are able. truly a gem of a place in a great area teeming with so many things to do just a walk away.

The neighborhood is very friendly and welcoming. It’s conveniently located close to the train station and offers all necessary amenities. The place is clean and well-maintained, making it a great choice for a comfortable stay.

Don’t be put off by the rules- be respectful and this is a great stay. Nice and quiet and close to many food places and stations. The host is very helpful and responsive and even offered to make a restaurant reservation for us. We loved our stay!

I had a wonderful time here, the place is very small (ideal for 1 person) but has all the essentials. the neighborhood is definitely the highlight, lots of small local restaurants, a bakery down the street, and easy access to kamiedo station. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo!

Very safe space. Small but nice. They have some kitchen utensils downstairs.
