We came upon the Tallac Historic Site one day when we were out on a bike ride by Camp Richardson. It was very interesting to learn some of the early history of South Lake Tahoe.

Trail along the lakeside. Easy access, historical information and tours. Very informative and fun beach access.

Lucky Baldwin built a Casino in 1901, and his daughter built herself a huge 5000sft summer house (and destroyed the casino). Great place for a walk around and next to the lake (tours available in the summer). Bring your dog
