Embark on a creative photography journey through Athens, capturing stunning images of iconic landmarks and hidden gems, with me, a renowned editorial photographer. • We’ll meet at the neoclassical National Library, where I’ll guide you through techniques for using your smartphone to frame your shots and capture architectural details. • At the Hellenic Parliament, I’ll share tips on photographing the Changing of the Presidential Guard before we stroll through the lush National Garden, where I encourage you to use the greenery to frame your shots. • I’ll explain the history of the Panathenaic Stadium, the site for the first modern Olympics in 1896, and show you how best to photograph its sweeping marble rows and capture its monumental scale. You’ll leave with improved smartphone photography skills, my recommendations of bars and eateries to explore in the vibrant Pangrati area, and a deeper appreciation of Athens’ long history and natural and architectural beauty.

Together we will discover the memorable ATHENIAN RIVIERA, which starts from the city center and ends at Sounio Peninsula, where the temple of the God of the Sea is located. The total route is around 140km (around 87 mi) by the coastline. For you to get to know the suburbs of Athens and enjoy the views, cliffs, lakes, sea, sun, FOOD, beaches with emerald waters. It is an ideal journey with locals (we will provide all the information needed for a wonderful stay here in Greece)! The pick up point is near the Acropolis museum and from there depending on season we will see many locations such as the Cultural Center (SNFCC) of Athens, the lake Vouliagmeni-a rare geological thermal phenomenon with spa fish-, small towns and villages near the cape, beaches and of course the Temple of Poseidon situated on an idyllic landscape. The Doric temple, which was erected during the Golden age and was devoted to Poseidon is at the southernmost point of Attica region. A trip totally worth it for the views and landscapes you'll get to see. And also for the drone photos and videos we will be doing (4k quality, you'll receive them at your email). We are certain that the sunset (the 2nd best that Greece has to offer) and the aura of the temple will captivate you as it happens with us every single time. We will explore the wide area of Loutraki with amazing natural beauty, elements of its ancient history and wonderful beaches. I will be your escort to this great experience in order discover the hidden gems that make this area so special. First we will drive to Gerania mountain, right next to the town of Loutraki. Our first stop will be at 700 meters of altitude to important Osios Patapios monastery. We will admire the Corinth Golf and the Corinth Canal from above. We will talk about out the history of the area, enjoying the amazing view. Then, we will drive to the very end on the mountain through olive tree fields heading to the Temple of Hera and the great Lighthouse. You will feel the unique aura of this "open air" museum and imagine how ancient Greeks where using this location as a port and aqueduct. Our final destination will be Lake Vouliagmeni or "Blue Lake". The salty lake is a place of amazing natural beauty. We will swim to the crystal clear water and enjoy our refreshments.

During the ride we'll get to check out the view of the impressive lagoon of lake Vouliagmeni Then we'll stop at a beach with crystal clear-turquoise waters, where you can take a quick swim, relax on the beach, and enjoy the peaceful, pristine Mediterranean. Finally, we'll drive to Cape Sounio, which is guarded by the Temple of Poseidon, where you can see the Aegean Sea stretch on for kilometers around you. Explore the archaeological site at your own pace and allow the stunning scenery to clear your mind. Optionally we recommend finishing our day with lunch/dinner as there many cute tavernas in the area with local cuisine! We will continue our walk towards one of the most panoramic spots in the area, where we will enjoy our second shot with a five stars view. The experience includes fun facts, and local perspectives of modern life in Athens, and, of course, local drinks! The aim of the tour is to provide an unforgettable experience.We drive southeast of the city along the coastal road,passing by wonderful beaches so we have a taste of the Athenian Riviera.On the way, we have a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf and the isles offshore. Our first stop, for amazing photos & swimming 60’ approx. at the Vouliagmeni Lake ,the hidden treasure of Attica's nature. Entrance fee is not included ( €17,00 on weekdays and € 19,00 on weekends). Situated on an idyllic landscape, this rare geological phenomenon is unique.The water is fresh from springs 150m deep and salty (50m away from the sea)with temperature 21C-29C. We enjoy swimming,sunbathing (or relaxing under the umbrellas) on the lakefront.The bar offers drinks and food here. Upon request we can visit a beach bar for sea swimming.Then we drive 45' to Cape Sounio to meet God Poseidon at its white marble temple which stands at the southernmost point of Attica overlooking Aegean Sea for the last 2500 years. If you want to know what it feels like walking around athens with a passionate local come and join me. When feeling like strolling around in my home town, i have my favourite route. This route is a long walk(about 2h)around the historical center, starting at Syntagma Square and ending in Monastiraki neighborhood. We explore the traditional neighborhoods of Agia Irene, Monastiraki and Psiri while scenting the aromas of the vivid flea market.
